1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Loaf: |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Shortening |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Salt |
3 1/2 cups | 218g / 7.7oz | White flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Yeast |
Here my favorite French Bread Recipe that came with my Black and Decker All-In-One Plus Automatic Breadmaker
1. measure ingredients into baking pan 2. insert baking pan securely into unit, close lid 3. select appropriat bread setting (on mine it is setting 6) 4. push start makes 1 large loaf
note: I use Fleischmann's breadmachine yeast and haven't had any problems
