| 1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Yeast |
| 2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Bread flour |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Basil leaves |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Oregano leaves |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Buttermilk - dried |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Grated parmesan cheese - 1 1/2 oz |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oil |
| 7/8 cup | 207ml | Water |
Bring bread ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in
order.
Select french bread setting.
For best results, use the finest and freshest ingredients available. That
is
especially true for this particular recipe.
Lois' sister Anita, who loves Italian food, will tell you that this
fabulous
bread is well worth the trip to your nearest Italian market or deli to
purchase
a chunk of imported Parmesan. You'll be disappointed with anything less,
once
you've tried it.
