1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Fat-free cholesterol-free egg product |

Mix sugar, margarine and dates in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over low heat,
stirring constantly, until margarine is melted; remove from heat. Mix in
milk, vanilla, salt and egg. Cook over very low heat about 4 minutes,
stirring constantly, until slightly thickened; remove from heat. Stir in
1/2
cup nuts. Cool 5 minutes. Stir in cereal. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
Roll balls in finely chopped nuts.
