Italian Party Meatballs (1.5 PTS)

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozGround beef
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozShredded provolone cheese
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozDry bread crumbs
1/4 cup 59mlSpaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlItalian seasoning - crushed
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGarlic powder
1   Egg - slightly beaten
1 cup 237mlSpaghetti sauce
  Pretzel sticks - if desired

Recipe Instructions

1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients except 1 cup spaghetti

sauce and the pretzel sticks.

2. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in ungreased jelly roll pan, 15

1/2X10 1/2 X 1 inch.

3. Bake about 12 minutes or until beef is no longer pink in center and

juice

is clear; drain well.

4. Meanwhile, heat 1 cup spaghetti sauce in 1-quart saucepan over medium

heat until hot. To serve, spear meatballs with pretzel sticks and dip into

spaghetti sauce.

Makes about 40 meatballs.
