1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon peel - grated |
5 cups | 1185ml | Apples - unpeeled, sliced |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Cranberries |
**TOPPING** | ||
2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Rolled oats |
1/3 cup | 53g / 1.9oz | Packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Whole wheat or all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cinnamon |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soft margarine - melted |
1. Filling: In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour, and lemon peel;mix
well.
Add apples and cranberries;stir to mix. Spoon into a 6 -cup baking dish.
2. Topping: In a small bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and
cinnamon.
Add melted margarine; stir to mix. Sprinkle topping over filling.
3. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 40-50 minutes or until filling is
bubbly
and top is brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
