1 tablespoon 15mlMinced dried onion
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlOnion powder

2 cups 125g / 4.4ozCubed cooked beef
2 cups 125g / 4.4ozCubed cooked pork
2 cups 474mlCubed fully cooked ham
2 cups 125g / 4.4ozCubed cooked chicken
2 cups 474mlCubed cooked turkey
  Select One Pasta
2 cups 474mlCooked elbow macaroni
2 cups 474mlCooked fine noodles
2 cups 474mlCooked tiny shell macaroni
2 cups 474mlCooked rigatoni
2 cups 474mlCooked cavatelli
  Select One Cheese
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozShredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozShredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozShredded American cheese
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozShredded Monterey jack - cheese
  Use All Of These
1 tablespoon 15mlButter or margarine
2 tablespoons 30mlAll-purpose flour
1   Stewed tomatoes - (16 oz), or cut up tomatoes
1/4 cup 59mlWater
1   Pepper

Recipe Instructions

In a large saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in flour.

Stir in undrained tomatoes, your choice of sauce, onion or onion powder, water, and pepper. (If using tomato sauce or pizza sauce, add 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed.) Cook and stir till mixture is thickened and bubbly. Stir in your choice of meat and pasta.

Turn into a 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in a 350F oven for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle your choice of cheese atop. Bake 5 minutes more or till cheese melts.
