2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Black pepper, coarsely ground |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Paprika |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chili powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Ground white pepper |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Crushed hot red pepper |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
Stir well to mix, then store at room temperature in an airtight jar.
Makes about 2/3 cup, enough rub for two 3-pound racks of spareribs
