Halibut Stir-Fry

Recipe Ingredients

2 teaspoons 10mlSesame oil
1 lb 454g / 16ozHalibut or lean fish - steaks, cut into 1 1/4" x 3/8" strips
1   Onion - thinly sliced (medium)
3   Garlic - minced
1 teaspoon 5mlGingerroot - finely chopped
1   Frozen - asparagus cuts, thawed (10 ounces)
1   Mushrooms, sliced, drained
1   Tomato - cut into thin (medium)
2 tablespoons 30mlSoy sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlLemon juice

Recipe Instructions

Cod, pollack and albacore tuna are examples of other lean fish that would be delicious substitutes for the halibut.

Heat oil in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

Add fish, onion, garlic, gingerroot and asparagus. Stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until fish almost flakes with fork. Carefully stir in remaining ingredients; heat through.

Serve with additional soy sauce if desired.
