Strawberry Sorbet

Recipe Ingredients

6 cups 1422mlStrawberries - hulled and washed
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozSuperfine sugar
1/4 cup 59mlFresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons 30mlStrawberry liqueur
  Mint sprigs

Recipe Instructions

In a food processor or blender, puree the strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and liqueur. Pour the mixture into a 12- by 8-inch glass baking dish; freeze, covered, until the mixture is frozen 1-inch around the edges, about 2 hours.

With a whisk, beat the mixture to break up the large frozen crystals, 1 to 2 minutes. Return to the freezer and freeze, covered, until firm, at least 3 hours.

Soften in the refrigerator 20 minutes and serve, garnished with the mint sprigs.
