Lentil - Potato Burgers

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozYellow onion - chopped
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozCelery - chopped
1/4 cup 59mlWater
2 cups 474mlLentils - cooked, drained & m
2 cups 474mlPotato - mashed
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozWhole-wheat bread crumbs - in
1 teaspoon 5mlDried parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlDried sage
1 teaspoon 5mlDried thyme
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlDried rosemary
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlBlack pepper - ground

Recipe Instructions

Preparation Time: 0:50 Preheat the oven to 350F. Saute the onion and celery in the water about 10 minutes. Combine in a bowl with the remaining ingredients and mix well. Form into patties and place on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then turn and bake for an additional 20 minutes Serve hot on toasted whole wheat burger buns.
