| 1/2 oz | Cumin seeds | |
| 1/2 oz | Fennel seeds | |
| 1/2 oz | Mustard seeds | |
| 1/2 oz | Black onion seeds or raw sesame seeds | |
| 1/2 oz | Fenugreek seeds |
Combine all seeds for a nutty flavored mix. Use mix, toasted, to flavor rice, beans or vegetable dishes. For example: to spice up 4 cups of cooked rice, toast 2 tbsp. seed mix in 1 ts cooking oil, over low heat, about two minutes or until seeds are slightly browned. For an elegant side dish, add 1/2 cup raisins and 1/4 cup coconut.
