Stuffed Quahogs

Recipe Ingredients

12   Quahogs
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozOnion - chopped
1   Mushrooms - drained
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozButter - melted
3 tablespoons 45mlFlour
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
  Black pepper
2 tablespoons 30mlButter - melted
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozDry bread crumbs

Recipe Instructions

Shuck quahogs and chop meat. Wash shells.

Cook mushrooms and onions until tender in butter. Blend in flour and seasonings.

Add chopped clams and cook until flour is thickened, stirring constantly.

Grease clam shells and fill with mixture.

Blend butter and crumbs and sprinkle over filling.

Bake in 400F oven for 10 minutes.
