Recipe Ingredients

3 lbs 1362g / 48ozSmoked beef brisket - diced
2   Garlic - minced
1 teaspoon 5mlBlack pepper
2 tablespoons 30mlCumin
1 teaspoon 5mlGinger
1 tablespoon 15mlRed pepper flakes
1 tablespoon 15mlCan tomato paste (small)
1 1/2 cups 355mlBoiling water
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozTomato (medium)
4 oz 113gCan v8 juice
3/4 cup 46g / 1.6ozOnion - diced
1 tablespoon 15mlSalt
3 tablespoons 45mlChili powder
1 tablespoon 15mlPaprika
1 tablespoon 15mlDry mustard
1 teaspoon 5mlOregano
1 teaspoon 5mlCan tomato sauce (large)
1/2   Cheap beer
1   Jalapeno

Recipe Instructions

Only use Smoked Brisket. Do not use ground beef.

Heat the brisket with a little oil. Drain and remove meat. Saute onion and garlic in the left over oil. Add all the spices and let everything roast awhile in the pot. Add the beef back to the pot and add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, V8 juice, tomato, Jalapeno, and beer. Cover and simmer for 1 hr. Add more beer if chili gets too dry.
