Christmas Balls Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Blue bonnet margarine |
10 oz | 284g | Large marshmallows |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Green food color |
6 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Cheerios cereal |
1 cup | 237ml | Gumdrops (small) |
Heat margarine and marshmallows in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and food color.
Fold in cereal until well coated. Shape warm mixture into balls with buttered hands. Place balls on waxed paper.
Cut gumdrops into fourths; press onto balls. 6 balls.
