Crunchy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup	164g / 5.8oz	Light corn syrup
1/3 cup	53g / 1.9oz	Brown sugar - packed
1 cup	198g / 7oz	Peanut butter
3 cups	480g / 16oz	Rice cereal
1 cup	110g / 3.9oz	Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 teaspoons	10ml	Vanilla

Recipe Instructions

In a 2 quart saucepan, combine corn syrup and brown sugar,. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a full boil. Stir in peanut butter. Remove from heat.

Stir in cereal, chocolate pieces and vanilla. Stir in cereal, chocolate pieces and vanilla. Press into an ungreased 9x9x2 inch pan.

Chill 1 hour. Cut into bars.
