Fudge Syrup Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine |
3 oz | 85g | Unsweetened chocolate |
3 cups | 711ml | Water |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 | Evaporated milk |
Melt butter in the top of a double boiler over boiling water. Add chocolate, heating until melted.
Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring until dissolved.
Stir in salt.
Slowly add milk. Mix well.
Chill several hours before using.
