Orange Creamsical Dessert

Recipe Ingredients

2   - - (3-ounces) orange gelatin
1 cup 237mlBoiling water
1/2 cup 118mlCold water
2   - - (3 1/2-ounce) instant, vanilla pudding/pie
2 cups 474mlCold milk
2   - - (11-ounce) mandarin, oranges, drained
2 cups 474mlPrepared whipped topping
  Lime peel - for garnish

Recipe Instructions

In small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water. Chill until slightly thickened.

Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk. Reserve 5 mandarin oranges for garnish. Fold remaining mandarin oranges, thickened gelatin, and 1 cup whipped topping into prepared pudding. Pour into 6-cup ring mold. Chill 4 hours or until set.

To serve, unmold onto serving plate. Spoon remaining whipped topping in center of ring. Garnish with reserved mandarin oranges and lime peel. Cut into leaf shapes.
