Rice Pudding - 3 Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Skim milk |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Rice |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1 | Salt | |
1 | Egg | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vanilla |
Cinnamon |
Put milk, half of water, rice, sugar and salt in pot. Heat at medium until it comes to a boil. Cook slowly one hour, stirring often.
Beat egg and rest of water, stir into rice. Cook 5 minutes. Add vanilla and stir. Pour into bowl or serving dishes, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cool and refrigerate.
