1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sesame oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-grated ginger |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Finely-minced garlic |
Freshly-ground white pepper - to taste | ||
Salad | ||
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Raw jumbo shrimp - shelled, deveined |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
4 cups | 440g / 15oz | Mixed salad greens or shredded lettuce |
1 | Red bell pepper - cut match-sticks | |
4 | Fresh button or shiitake mushrooms - stems discarded, | |
And thinly sliced | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Diamond Sesame Glazed Walnuts |
Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl; whisk until blended.
In a bowl, toss shrimp with salt; let stand for 30 minutes.
Place salad greens, bell pepper and mushrooms in a wide, shallow bowl.
Grill or broil shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes or until done. Place cooked shrimp over salad. Add Diamond Sesame Glazed Walnuts. Pour dressing over salad and toss.
