Bacon Egg Bread Recipe - Cooking Index

| 3 | Eggs - plus (large) | |
| Enough water to make 1 cup | ||
| Liquid, plus an additional | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
| 1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Butter |
| 3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Bread flour |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
| 6 | Bacon - cooked crisp, | |
| And crumbled | ||
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Active dry yeast |
Place all ingredients in your machine in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Select the Basic/White cycle and press start.
This recipe yields 1 loaf
Comments : Use bacon fat in place of the butter for a more smoky taste.
