Mustard-Glazed Ham Recipe - Cooking Index
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Cooked ham - (to 5 lbs) - drained |
10 | Whole cloves - (to 12) | |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Prepared mustard |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Orange juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornstarch |
Score ham in a diamond pattern; stud with cloves. Place in crockpot.
Combine brown sugar, mustard and lemon juice; spoon over ham. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour; turn to LOW and continue cooking for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove ham to a serving platter; keep warm. Turn crockpot to HIGH.
Combine orange juice and cornstarch to form smooth paste. Stir into drippings in slow cooker. Cook stirring occasionally for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until sauce is thickened. Spoon over ham.
This recipe yields 8 to 12 servings.
