Fruited Couscous Breakfast

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups 355mlWater
1 1/2 cups 355mlUnsweetened apple juice
1 1/2 cups 355mlDry couscous
3/4 cup 120g / 4.2ozGolden raisins
3/4 cup 177mlDried apricots
2 teaspoons 10mlCinnamon
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlNutmeg
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlAllspice
2 teaspoons 10mlHoney - (optional)

Recipe Instructions

In a medium saucepan bring the water and apple juice to a boil.

Add the couscous, raisins and apricots. Remove from the stove and let stand for 6 minutes, covered.

Drain any excess water from the couscous. Add the remaining ingredients and serve.

This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
