Recipe Ingredients

2/3 cup 26g / 0.9ozFresh basil leaves - (tightly packed)
3   Scallions, including 2" green - chopped
1   Garlic clove - minced
1 teaspoon 5mlDry-roasted sunflower seeds
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
3 teaspoons 15mlLow-sodium fat-free chicken broth - (to 4)
1/2 tablespoon 7.5mlGrated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Instructions

Place first 5 ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pulse on and off until finely minced.

Add the stock to thin the mixture. Stir in cheese.

This recipe yields 1/2 cup.
