Aromatic Tandoori Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
| 5 oz | 142g | Plain yogurt |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame or mustard oil |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lemon juice - ( or bottled ) |
| 4 | Garlic cloves - chopped | |
| 1 | Fresh ginger | |
| 2 | Green chiles - chopped) | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh coriander leaves - chopped |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Dried onion flakes |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Ground almonds |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 100 | Milk | |
| Spices | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Coriander seeds |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sesame seeds |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Green cardamom seeds |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fennel seeds |
Put yogurt, oil, lemon, garlic, ginger, chiles, leaves into blender and pulse until smooth. Add remaining stuff including spices, and pulse again. You will probably need more milk until mix is easy to pour. Add a little milk and see result. Put in fridge until needed.
