Fenugreek Yogurt Stew (Menthi Majjiga)

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups  Yogurt - (1 day sour)
1   Turmeric
1   Stem coriander leaves
1 tablespoon  Oil
1/2 teaspoon  Black mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon  Cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon  Peeled black gram dal
1   Asafetida
2   Green chiles
1/2   Red chile
  Salt - to taste

Recipe Instructions

1. Beat yogurt.

2. Chop green chiles finely. Pluck coriander. Add salt and turmeric to the yogurt.

3. Fry mustard, cumin seeds. black gram dal, asafetida and red chile. Season.
