Tuna Ki Kari - Curried Tuna Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Vegetable oil |
2 oz | 56g | Onion - cut into half rings |
1 | Garlic clove - very finely chopped | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Curry powder - as bolst's hot |
1 packet | Good quality oil packed tuna - undrained | |
1 | Fresh hot green chili - cut into fine rounds | |
1 | piece fresh ginger root - peeled, julienned | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Coriander leaves - chopped |
Salt and pepper - to taste |
Put oil in non stick frying pan and set over medium-high heat. When hot, put in onion and garlic. Stir-fry until onion turns brown ant edges. Add curry powder; mix. Add tuna; mix well. Turn heat to low and add green chili, ginger and coriander; mix. Check for seasoning; mix and turn off heat. Serve hot or cold. As a sandwich filling, puff pastry filling, pasta salad.
