Willingham's All-Purpose Marinade

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlCider vinegar
1/2 cup 118mlOrange juice - freshly squeezed
1/2 cup 118mlLemon juice - freshly squeezed
2   Lemon peel - up to 3
1 tablespoon 15mlBrown sugar - packed
1 tablespoon 15mlLemon pepper
1 tablespoon 15mlBlack pepper - freshly ground
1 teaspoon 5mlTabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGarlic powder

Recipe Instructions

In a glass or ceramic bowl, combine all the ingredients. Use immediately or keep in a tightly covered glass jar for several days in the refrigerator.

Editor's note: The addition of half a can of cola, ginger-ale, Dr. Pepper or beer to the meat being marinated will improve the taste and flavor of this marinade.
