Dessert Cheddar Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
1 cup | 237ml | Heavy cream |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Grated mild cheddar cheese |
Melt the butter and stir in the flour. Cook gently, stirring, as you carefully add the cream and the honey. Keep stirring over low heat, and fold in the cheese. Serve warm over apple pie or apple pudding.
