Old Farts Baked Beans

Recipe Ingredients

1   Pinto beans - drained
1   Black beans - reserve 4 oz. Liquid
1   Onion - minced fine (large)
1/2 cup 118mlBarbecue sauce
  Cooking oil spray - as needed
1 tablespoon 15mlCracked black pepper
1 tablespoon 15mlGround ancho pepper
1 teaspoon 5mlCumin powder
2 tablespoons 30mlHot sauce
1   Kosher salt

Recipe Instructions

Prepare grill for direct cooking method. Or use your smoker if doing something else in it at the same time.

In a small bowl combine beans, reserved liquid, onion, barbecue sauce, hot sauce and spices.

Spray a shallow two quart disposable aluminum pan with cooking oil spray. Pour bean mixture into the aluminum pan and place onto grill rack.

Cover. Cook for 1 hour, stir beans every 15 minutes.
