Apple Beet Salad (3.5 PTS) Recipe - Cooking Index
| 4 | Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, and sliced | |
| 16 oz | Julienne beets - drained | |
| 1/2 cup | Sliced radishes | |
| 1/4 cup | Diagonally sliced green onions | |
| 1/4 cup | Vinegar | |
| 1/4 cup | Olive oil | |
| 1 teaspoon | Sugar | |
| 1/4 teaspoon | Ground allspice | |
| Salt and pepper to taste | ||
| 1 x | Hot sauce (optional) |
1. In large bowl, combine apples, beets, radishes, and green onions. In
small
bowl, vinegar, olive oil, sugar, allspice, salt, pepper, and, if desired,
hot
sauce; pour over apple mixture and toss well.
2. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving
