Juice from one lemon |
Optional: 1/4 cup crème de cassis (black currant or other fruit
liqueur)
Peel peaches, slice in half and remove pits. Place snugly in large pot
with lid. Cover with remaining ingredients, add lid. Simmer for 45
minutes to hour. Note: The riper the peaches, the less time they need
to cook.
