| Garlic powder | ||
| Ground cumin | ||
| Paprika | ||
| Chili powder | ||
| Fresh basil - chopped | ||
| White vinegar | 
Layer fresh rosemary sprigs on top of skinned chicken and leave on during smoking; lay chicken or chicken breasts on a bed of fresh rosemary sprigs during smoking.
Use white vinegar with some of the rub as a mop about 2 or 3 times during smoking. Dab on gently so as not to disturb the rosemary.
