"Sweet" Carrots Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Boiling water |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 cups | 220g / 7.8oz | Shredded carrots |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Diet margarine |
Sugar substitute - to taste | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Parsley |
Bring water to boil in saucepan. Add salt and carrots. Cover pan and cook until water is evaporated (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat. Add margarine and sugar substitute to taste. Toss with lemon juice and parsley. Serve immediately.
