Broiled Bananas On Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe - Cooking Index
| 4 | Ripe peeled bananas - halved lengthwise | |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Rum |
| Cinnamon - to taste | ||
| Vanilla ice cream | ||
| Several curls of bittersweet chocolate, | ||
| Peeled off a bar with a swivel peeler |
Preheat broiler.
Arrange banana halves in shallow pan, cut side up. Sprinkle rum evenly over bananas and shake cinnamon on top. Broil 4 inches from flame until softened and beginning to brown. Place two banana halves in each of four bowls. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and serve, topped with chocolate curls.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
