Drunken Cheese Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Roquefort cheese | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hungarian paprika | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Worcestershire sauce | 
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Port wine | 
Combine all ingredients, except wine, in a bowl and blend with electric mixer until smooth.
Gradually beat in port and continue beating until light and creamy.
Fill small covered jars or earthenware pots with mixture.
Place a piece of waxed paper (cut to fit) over the top of the cheese.
Cover the jar and store in the refrigerator. Serve with crackers.
The small jars/pots of spread make great gifts.
