Braised Endive Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Belgian endive - sliced in |
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Red delicious apple - diced (small) |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lemon juice |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Walnut oil |
| 1 | Salt | |
| Pepper to taste | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Apple cider vinegar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh parsley - chopped |
Place all ingredients except vinegar and parsley in a large skillet. Remove cover, cook 2 minutes more until water evaporates. Continue cooking over medium heat 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar. Garnish with parsley.
