Zippy Cheese Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Red wine |
| 5 tablespoons | 75ml | Prepared horseradish - drained |
| 1/2 | Lemon - juice of | |
| 1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Dry mustard |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | Garlic - minced | |
| 2 | Cold-pack cheese spread* |
*Such as Wispride.
Blend everything except cheese in the food processor. Add cheese a little at a time and blend until smooth. Don't over process or it will be runny. Pack in crocks and chill.
Note: Our kids used to make this for their teachers. Search out small crocks, gather plastic wrap around and tie with a decorative spreader or knife. Tuck in a sprig of evergreen.
