| 6 cups | 375g / 13oz | Beef-sliced - (3 lb arm/chuck) |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Sauce-Worcestershire |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
| 5 tablespoons | 75ml | Lemon juice |
| Salt and pepper to taste | ||
| 2 cups | 220g / 7.8oz | Celery |
| Mushrooms - (if desired) | ||
| 3 cups | 711ml | Broth - (or less) |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mustard-prepared |
| 1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown sugar - (not pack tight) |
| 2 | Onions - (2 med) | |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter/oleo/bacon fat |
Cook meat until tender. Save 3 cups of broth saute 4 (2 med) chopped onions and 2 cups celery in about 3 tablespoons butter/oleo/bacon fat. May also add mushrooms.
Add onions and celery, mushrooms to broth and cook.
Meat-heat and serve on buns. All ingredients can be placed in a crock pot, (meat uncooked, broth=water).
