Sonny Bryan's Onion Rings Recipe - Cooking Index

| 1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Beer |
| 4 cups | 250g / 8.8oz | All-purpose flour |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking powder |
| 4 | Ex-large onions - slice to- 1/2 inch | |

| Kosher salt - to taste |
Mix together eggs -- milk -- and beer in a bowl. In each of two bowls -- mix 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Heat oil to 350-400. Dip onion rings into egg mixture -- then into dry mixture. Redip into egg mixture and dredge in second dry mixture.
Add rings to oil in small batches.
Cook about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to drain on paper towels
Salt to taste.
