Green Chile Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - chopped (small) |
| 4 | Garlic - minced | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oil |
| 8 | Green New Mexican chilies, roasted - peeled and seeded | |
| 6 | Tomatillos | |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Chicken stock |
| 1 | Cumin | |
| Salt to taste |
Saute onions until translucent. Add garlic. Stir one minute. If tomatillos are canned, put them in a blender. If fresh, boil some water and remove from stove. Put tomatillos in water for 15 minutes until soft. Then add to blender with remaining ingredients.
