Citrus Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion - fine chop (large) |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Red pepper |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vegetable oil |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Lime juice |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Red chili peppers - ground |
| 1 | Ancho chili seeded - fine | |
| Chop | ||
| 1 cup | 237ml | Orange juice |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cilantro - snipped |
Place onion, red chiles, red pepper and ancho chile in oil, in saucepan. Stirring frequently, heat until onion is tender about 5 min. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
