Guava Barbecie Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | 237ml | Guava paste | 
| 6 tablespoons | 90ml | Cider vinegar | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Dark rum | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Chile sauce - (not Tabasco) | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Sour orange juice | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce | 
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Catsup | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Crystallized ginger | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Maui onions - minced | 
| 1 | Thai chile - seeded and minced | |
| 1 | Elephant garlic - minced | |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Pick-a-peppa sauce | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Tomato-based barbecue sauce - (like Kraft) | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Peanut oil | 
Heat oil in heavy stock pot over medium heat and saute onion and garlic until transparent.
Add chiles and cook for 2 minutes more. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until sauce begins to thicken. Store in refrigerator.
