| 3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Onion - chopped | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic - chopped | 
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Sweet pepper - chopped | 
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Parsley - dried | 
| 1 cup | 237ml | Dry white wine | 
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vinegar | 
| 2 cups | 474ml | Ketchup | 
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt | 
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Worcestershire sauce - warmed | 
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Mint - dried | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Liquid smoke | 
| 1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Louisiana hot sauce | 
Place all ingredients in a pot that is big enough to hold them.
Bring to boil. Cook covered., on low heat for several hours.
