Mustard Barbecue Sauce - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - chopped (large) |
| 4 | Garlic - minced | |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Tomato sauce |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Maple syrup |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Molasses |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Dijon mustard |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco sauce |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Pepper |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Malagueta pepper |
| 1/4 | Seeded lemon - chopped | |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cumin |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Coriander |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ginger' |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Paprika |
Saute onions and garlic in oil over low heat for 5 min.
Add remaining ingredients and cook for 10 more min.
Spread on meat during last 10-15 min. of grilling or broiling or last 20-25 minutes of baking.
Makes 2 1/2 to 3 cups.
