Pork Chop Casserole - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 | Pork chops - up to 4 | |
| 1 | Onion - chopped (medium) | |
| 1 | Tomatoes - diced | |
| 1 | Beef broth - * see note | |
| 1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Rice - uncooked |
| Salt and pepper | ||
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Marjoram |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Thyme |
* preferably Campbell's Beef Consomme
Brown chops on each side with onions in a skillet in some oil or cooking spray and set aside. In a greased, shallow casserole (9X13), spread raw rice out into a layer. Top with pork chops and onions. Pour can of tomatoes over chops and then consomme, adding a 1/2 can (from the consomme can) of water. Sprinkle spices evenly over top of casserole. Cover and bake at 350F for 1 hour.
Serves 4.
