Apple Crisp With Macadamia Nuts Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | All-purpose flour |
| 1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
| 1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Firmly packed brown sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped macadamia nuts |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground cinnamon |
| 2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Chilled stick margarine cut into small pieces |
| 5 cups | 1185ml | Thinly sliced peeled rome apple |
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Apricot preserves |
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal; set aside.
Place apple slices in an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray; drop apricot preserves by teaspoonfuls onto apple slices, and sprinkle evenly with the flour mixture. Bake at 375F for 35 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
