Hazelnut Cherubs Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 1/3 cups | 83g / 2.9oz | Sifted flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine - soft |
| 1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar - packed |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Raspberry jam |
| Topping | ||
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped Oregon hazelnuts |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
| 1 | Salt |
Mix flour, sugar, salt and margarine with a pastry blender until all combined.
Pack into the bottom of a greased shallow pan 10" x 12". Spread with jam.
Bake in a 350F oven for 8 minutes.
Spread with topping, then bake for 20 minutes. Cut while warm.
