Beer Bird Marinade  (especially for pheasants) Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Butter | 
| 2 | Garlic cloves - (2 to 3) - minced | |
| 12 oz | 340g | Beer | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Freshly-ground black pepper | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | MSG | 
Melt butter; saute garlic until translucent. Add beer slowly and mix in salt, pepper, and MSG. Pour hot marinade over bird and marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Use to baste barbecuing bird(s) as well.
