Grecian Rice Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil | 
| 1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Finely-chopped onion | 
| 1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Long grain rice - uncooked | 
| 1 | Chicken broth - (13 3/4 oz) | |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Water | 
| 1 | Athenos Crumbled Feta Cheese with | |
| Peppercorn - (8 oz) | ||
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dried oregano leaves | 
Heat oil in medium saucepan. Add onion; cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Add rice; cook and stir 1 minute.
Stir in broth and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Stir in feta cheese and oregano. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
Great Substitute: Try 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint in place of oregano.
