| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Minced onion |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced garlic |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Sour mash bourbon |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
| 1/2 cup | 164g / 5.8oz | Maple syrup |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Balsamic vinegar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Diced canned chipotle peppers |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Adobo sauce (from peppers) |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dijon mustard |
Saute onion and garlic until golden in butter. Then add bourbon and reduce by half. Cook for 30 minutes at medium-low heat.
